Protecting your passwords to protect what’s most important

Our Mission

We aim to provide users all over the world with the most reliable and helpful cyber-security solutions. Passwarden uses top-of-the-game security technologies and KeepSolid’s extensive experience to keep users’ sensitive information (passwords, logins, banking info, personal notes, etc.) safe and sound.

Our Core Value

There’s nothing more important than the security of our users’ data. If you entrust us with your data, you can rest assured it gets a military-grade protection. This is the key value that Passwarden is built on.

Of course, as a part of KeepSolid family, we share other values and philosophies. Learn more about KeepSolid values here.

Our History

Passwarden was released in October 2020. We envisioned it as a secure password manager first and foremost (hence the name). Right off the bat, we also managed to register a trademark for Passwarden® at the federal level in the US, which is important for a business that deals with official data.

Early adopters received it really warmly and provided us with lots of insightful feedback, such as some ideas on what types of data they’d like us to protect. As a result, now you can easily store all sorts of information in Passwarden’s secure vaults, in addition to passwords and logins. Also that year, we released our MonoDefense security bundle and we just knew Passwarden had to join it, without question.

One important thing that we noticed is that many netizens still share their sensitive information via unreliable channels, such as email or messengers. To help change this reckless behavior, we added the ability to share your information directly within Passwarden, keeping it safe and encrypted throughout the whole process.

Another issue many internet users have to face is that they have no way to know what’s going on with their passwords in the long run (e.g. months after they used them). This is the reason why one of the latest additions to Passwarden functionality is the security dashboard - a hub where you can monitor the safety of your passwords and will be notified of any issues.

Our Technologies

End-to-end encryption

Any data you enter into Passwarden is secured with a military-grade encryption technology called AES-256. This protects your passwords and other sensitive information from falling into the hands of hackers and snoopers. Also, it’s end-to-end encryption, meaning that your data stays enciphered even while on our servers - at no point can we see your raw information.

Security dashboard

This technology allows you to check your passwords for any vulnerabilities and to stay aware of their security at a single glance. It can monitor the internet, including the Dark Web, for any traces of your passwords getting leaked - security breaches of your websites and services, leaked databases, compromised accounts, etc. The security dashboard will also inform you of any potential threats, e.g. weak, reused, or expiring passwords.

Duress mode

There may happen a moment when you’re forced to unblock your Passwarden account but still want to keep your data safe (e.g. at customs). For this exact scenario, we developed the Duress mode. All you need to do is set up a duress password and then use it instead of your normal one - this will hide your important information.

Two-factor authentication

What good is a password manager if anyone can just pick a password to it and access all your data? To prevent that, Passwarden features two-factor authentication. With it on, your account gets an extra layer of protection in the form of a one-time passcode that will be sent to your email every time anybody tries to log in.

Strong password generator

Coming up with strong AND unique passwords can become quite a hassle the more accounts you have. Not to mention you also have to remember them all! To help with that, Passwarden offers a convenient password generator feature. It allows you to create a password in a single click, configure its settings (such as length), save it in a Passwarden vault, and easily recover it when needed using autofill.

MonoDefense

MonoDefense is a bundle that features KeepSolid’s best-selling products for online security, privacy, anonymity, and freedom. It embodies our vie for providing netizens with a completely safe internet experience. So check out MonoDefense if you want an all-around, cost-efficient solution that offers a set-and-forget system of key apps.
