Did you know that around 6.85 million accounts are hacked every day? The internet is an unusual place. Despite being one of the most astonishing technological products, it may also be a curse. The internet can be a scary place, with persistent hackers and cybercriminals looking to take advantage of your mistake or a moment of weakness to steal your credentials and access your key websites.
You can never be too cautious when it comes to the internet. As a result, it is never a good idea to reuse passwords. According to a trustworthy source, around 51% of people use the same password for personal and professional accounts. Similarly, around 23 million people still use a simple password like 123456 to secure internet accounts, which is not only overly common but also weak and easy to guess. To sum it all up, the majority of users utilize weak passwords for account security, making it easy for cybercriminals. Fortunately, there is a solution to every problem in the world. Passwarden is the solution to this issue.
The first notable feature of Passwarden is its autofill feature, which allows users to easily retrieve and auto-fill their information. This function is so intuitive that it quickly normalizes regular Passwarden use while browsing. Most password managers frequently disappoint and provide a slew of errors when navigating, but Passwarden is not one of them.
The password generator is the next remarkable feature on Passwarden. While this feature appears to be simple, it is actually one of the most critical features of any password manager. It makes establishing secure passwords simple, so you'll never have to reuse past passwords.
Another noteworthy feature is the password-sharing utility. While we never recommend you to share your passwords randomly, some situations can warranty it. If there is ever a need for that, Passwarden has the feature, and it’s effortless to use. Apart from sharing passwords, people subscribed to the family plan can enjoy unlimited sharing.
Passwarden also uses AES 256-bit encryption to secure your data. Remember that this is the same type of encryption used by banks, governments, the military, and the world’s leading security companies. This makes your data unbreachable, no matter how skilled the hacker is.
The security policy of a password manager can make all the difference, since your credentials and passwords are not safe without advanced threat detection and encryption. Thankfully, Passwarden is one of the most reliable providers in the world in that regard. The first indicator of our trustworthiness is the zero-knowledge policy, which means that the company does not sell, track, or access any information stored in the user’s vault. All the encryption and decryption happen at the device level, eliminating the likelihood of the company or its staff accessing your credentials or login information.
While there are compatible applications for macOS, Linux, Windows, Android, and iOS, Passwarden is much more powerful and efficient when you use its web browser extension. Of course, there are browser extensions for every major platform, enabling users to relish an all-in-one password management experience. There is a single sign-on option, which means as soon as you have entered your master password, the browser extension will automatically fill in your credentials when visiting recognized websites.
