5. Type in your current log-in combination (do it once) and the new one (do it twice). How to Reset My iCloud Password
To reset your log-in combination is a considerably more difficult task than to change it. iCloud sends you an email with a temporary password and texts you a security code. Don’t worry: we will go through the procedure step by step.
1. Go to icloud.com and click on the Forgot Apple ID or password? link at the bottom of the screen.
2. Enter your Apple ID (the email address you tied to your Apple account) and click on Continue.
3. After you have entered your email address you need to enter the telephone number you use with your Apple ID (‘1111111111’ is an example, not a real number). Type it in the form and click on Continue.
4. Enter the code you received on your phone (once again, ‘111111’ is an example) and click on Continue.
5. Apple sends one more code: this time to your email address. Enter it (like before, ‘111111’ is an example) in the form and click on Continue.
6. After the system has checked your email address and phone number, it allows you to change your password. Type it in twice; the combination should feature at least 8 characters and have at least 1 number, 1 upper-, and 1 lowercase letter. The strength of your password is automatically assessed, and to be truly strong it shouldn’t contain subsequent identical symbols. How to Update the iCloud Password in Passwarden
Note! Make updates in proper order: change/reset your sign-in combination on the iCloud website and then update it in Passwarden.
1. Use your Master Password to log in to your Passwarden account.
3. There is the Edit button at the bottom-right corner of the screen. Click on it.
4. Update the Password field: click on it and enter your new combination.
5. Click on Save.
